Piezoelectric transducers of P112 and P121 types are a serial product of the company and are designed to work together with ultrasonic flaw detectors of RDM series and are compatible with flaw detectors used on railway transport.
PEP is used for manual inspection to detect defects in rails, welds of various structures. Product quality control can be performed in echo-pulse, mirror-shadow, shadow and other modes.

PEPs are characterized by the following performance features:
– high sensitivity
– small dead zone
– limited noise level.

The transducers are manufactured by pouring technology with the use of recipe tables calculated for each input angle, thus the repeatability of input angles for the same type of sensors is achieved. The technology of PEP manufacturing provides artificial aging of the filling mass, which ensures their operability in the whole temperature range from minus 40 °С to + 50 °С.
The PEP housing is made of steel, which significantly increases the wear resistance of transducers when working with products with a high degree of roughness. On the side surfaces there are inscriptions with type designation, serial number and date of manufacture.

Manual transducers of RS type can be manufactured with resonators of RP-RS-1, RP-RS-2, RP-RS-3 or RP-RS-5 type on customer’s request.

In RS type converters, depending on the device type, connectors of CP50-74, RSH2H, HR-10, Lemo, BNC type are used, cable length – 2 meters.
The other converters have connectors of the CP50-73 type.
