UDS2M-35
Ultrasonic flaw detector UDS2M-35 is designed for detection, measurement of location coordinates, evaluation of parameters by amplitude of reflected signals and registration of defects in rails of railway track (secondary inspection), welded joints made by electro-contact and aluminum-thermite (ALTS) welding, as well as for pre-welding inspection of end sections of new and old rails before their welding at rail-welding plants or on the track. Rails of P43, P50, P65, P75, UIC60 and S49 types are subject to inspection.
The flaw detector is a portable device and is designed for manual inspection. The flaw detector realizes echo-method (EM), shadow method (TM), mirror-shadow method (STM) and mirror method (SM) of ultrasonic inspection at combined, separate and separate-separate-separate schemes of inclusion of manual piezoelectric transducers (PEP) at contact method of input of ultrasonic vibrations (UZK). The number of manual control channels is 2.
